Player Ambassadors 2019-20

James Moody News, Player Visit 2019-20, Player Ambassadors

The Trust would like to thank the players of Scunthorpe United Football Club for their continued support in our programmes over the course of the 2019-20 campaign.

As always, we’ve had a number of different schemes running concurrently over the course of the season, with the only disappointment being that it was curtailed early, as we had a number of upcoming plans which the players were going to get involved in.

Whether it’s been school visits, representing the club through EFL Trust schemes or taking part in our soccer courses, we’ve had around 40 individual representations from the players at the football club.

While a number of those visits have seen players cross over, along with some since departing the club, the below shows the roles that the professionals have taken over the course of 2019-20, giving up their time after training to make a difference in the local community.
