Traineeships: Learn new skills in a professional environment

If you are aged between 16 and 18, currently not in education, employment or training, and not sure which path to take, then why not consider a FREE, 12-week traineeship at Scunthorpe United Community Sport & Education Trust.

The traineeship is a fantastic opportunity to gain work experience and learn new skills, offering career progression paths within a sport and leisure environment. Your chance to be part of a Traineeships programme with your local football club.

We are holding an information drop in evening on Tuesday, October 15th, 2019 in the Legends Lounge at the Sands Venue Stadium, 4pm – 6pm. Come down and learn more about our traineeship programme and how to enrol.

Here is what you’ll get in just 12 weeks;
-> Free training in employment skills including; creating your CV, seeking employment opportunities and interview skills.
-> Maths and English support, developing skills up to, and inclusive of, Level 1 Functional Skills. Maths and English are vital to employers and career progressions.

All this will give you a valuable insight to working in the variety of opportunities in sport and leisure.

*There will be bursaries available to registered trainees. This is means tested and the College will share the policy / process for this with you in due course.
