Tyto Law sponsor football scholars

James Moody Futsal, News 2019-20, Futsal, SUFC Futsal, Tyto Law

The Scunthorpe United Community Sport and Education Trust is pleased to announce Tyto Law as their front of shirt sponsors for their scholars.

The local company, based in Ealand, Crowle, team up with the SUFC Trust to get behind a growing EFL initiative and provide much needed support with travel and the funding of the course. The agreement will also see the company given regular exposure by @SUFCFutsal and @SUFCTrust on Twitter, on the SUCSET website and programme page while their logo will be sported on their match kit, currently worn in Futsal league matches and tournaments.

The scholars take part in a two-year course studying an NCFE Level Three Extended Diploma in Sport & Physical Activity (Sports Coaching) with Futsal (worth up to three A-Levels). There are currently 17 first years and 12 seconds years.

From 2020-21, this course will be changing as the SUFC Trust embark on an exciting new venture in association with the club’s academy, entitled the Scunthorpe and Education Academy. Students will be studying a NCFE Level Three Extended Diploma in Sport & Physical Activity (Sports Coaching), which is a pure football course and will see links made to United’s Under-18s, providing another chance to potentially make it as a professional footballer. The reaction…

Education Manager Gav Cooper said: “We are delighted to have Oliver and Tyto Law on board as our new front of shirt sponsors for the scholars.

“This allows the scholars to continue to have a match kit to play their league and tournament matches in and it’s great we can give another local company the exposure. A big thank you to Bella Properties for their support over the last two years, but we’re looking forward to helping Tyto Law gain exposure as a local company based in Crowle.

“With the course developing into a pure football one for the start of next season, it is a great opportunity to grow and expand, with the links to the academy also an invaluable tool to help not only us as a Trust, but also Oliver as a business. The two years that Tyto Law are involved will see us develop into the Scunthorpe and Education Academy, with more information to follow.”
