Neil Cox attends first day of festive multi-sports camps

James Moody News, Player Visit 2020-21, December 2020, Neil Cox, Player Visit

Scunthorpe United first team manager Neil Cox made a special visit to Bottesford Town on Monday afternoon on day one of the Trust’s festive multi-sports camps.

The Premier League’s Charitable Fund and Barclays had provided funding for three days of courses, which also includes a FREE lunch for the participants. All three days swiftly sold out.

United’s boss came towards last part of the day, as the children – aged between six and 13 – came towards the end of their activities, which involved much more than just football. After a muddy day outside, it was into the sports hall for the medal presentation and a socially distanced photo with both the young group and the older group with the manager after Cox himself handed them out.

As always, a massive thank you to Bottesford Town Football Club for the use of their facilities and for their collaboration with these three events in the run up to Christmas.

Matchday #6: CEFA Results John McAtee, Jake Taylor and Ryan Loft attend second day of festive multi-sports camps
